The Franck Muller Masterbanker was the first wristwatch to offer three independent time zones from a single movement and this version gave us more by adding the moon phase and day-night features for two other time zones which is something not avilable from the newer models. This watch has a beautiful dial in black with contrasting counters and minute frame. A gorgeous watch in every manner and the strap is a double sided alligator leather with brown stitches which is a touch of class. A spare black rubber strap comes with it.
In May 2017, this watch was returned to the factory where it received a full service costing S$2639.00 with receipt so the watch has been properly taken of.
Watch is in excellent condition throughout with little wear and gold is soft so it can be easily polished upon request.
The Ref. model 8880 stands for the model and our watch here is the jumbo size while MB is MasterBanker, L for Lune (moon) and DT for date. This was a very expensive model and was last retailed for US$37900. A brand new piece from the retailer would’ve set you back well over S$30K easily.
